AIris can now translate an entire page at once. Translate all page content into one language, or into all active site languages, with a single click.
We’ve also added your own AI-powered SEO consultant inside Banana. AIris has access to the page content, the property context, and SEO best practices. Ask it to generate SEO tags or structured data, request changes, ask for explanations, or translate the result into any active language.
Import/Export is now available in more modules, including Offers, Reviews, and Hotspots. Import content from external platforms or export it to work outside Banana and bring it back when ready.

We’ve added a new content subordination feature that allows content to be connected across modules in different sites. For example, you can create offers on each property site and group them on the brand site, or create destination points of interest in the Hotspots module and display the relevant ones on each property website.
The Wizard can now create a new website using the design of one of your existing sites, combined with new AI-generated content, helping you launch tailored sites in just a few minutes.
We’ve also improved link handling and ARIA labels for better accessibility, rebuilt the multiselect component in the CMS, and added better error control for large image uploads.
Finally, the CookieScript banner is now hidden from unpublished site previews, keeping preview environments cleaner.

You can now import and export FAQs using XLS files, making it easier to create, update, translate, and manage large FAQ collections across sites.
We’ve also added a new chat-style interface for AI-powered skin editing. You can now ask AIris to modify the design of your skins using natural language, without touching code.

We’ve improved the Wizard’s AI context generation by integrating additional external data sources and better Booking.com profile detection to identify whether a property belongs to an individual hotel or a chain.
Home previews inside the Wizard now display real content and updated color palettes, making the selection process more visual and realistic.
We’ve also improved image imports by limiting oversized imports, switching image processing to a grid-based flow, and adding better error handling for booking content requests.
Additional updates include OtaSync API improvements, real content previews in galleries, and performance optimizations in API calls.

When activating specific booking engine toggles, Loyalty and MyBooking pages are now created automatically, ensuring a faster and more consistent setup.
We’ve added new parameters to the Ota Sync integration, improving data synchronization capabilities.
In the Wizard, when setting up the business details of a new property, we now prioritize data retrieved via the booking engine API over information scraped from the old website or Booking.com, ensuring greater accuracy.
During the image scraping and import process, the Wizard now displays the number of images found and the import status, giving you better visibility into the process.
We’ve also fixed an issue in the language mapping when importing Rooms and Offers, ensuring content is assigned to the correct language.

In the Wizard, we’ve introduced new parameters in the property identification process to ensure that key data—such as address, official website, and Booking.com profile—is accurately validated before retrieving information.
We’ve also streamlined the creation flow, reducing and compressing steps to make the setup process faster and more agile.
The booking engine selection has been moved to the beginning of the process, allowing the Wizard to retrieve property data via API earlier in the workflow.
Finally, we’ve added a new integration with CookieScript, expanding the available options for cookie consent management.

The Wizard, our tool to create hotel websites in minutes, can now also generate a complete Gallery page with real images from the property, pulled from the hotel’s online profiles. This joins the pages already being created automatically—Home, Rooms, Offers, FAQs, and Reviews—all fully customized and based on real content.
Starting today, Banana will prioritize the WebP image format over JPEG and PNG. All uploaded images are now automatically converted to WebP and served to visitors, resulting in faster loading times and improved performance. This is a fully automated process and applies retroactively to existing websites. The original image remains available in your media library for reference or reuse.

We’ve expanded the integration with the hotel’s Booking.com profile, allowing us to retrieve more detailed data to enrich the site setup process and improve content suggestions.
We’ve also fixed an issue affecting content duplication between sites with different active languages. From now on, content is always duplicated from the main language of the source site to the main language of the destination site, ensuring consistency and avoiding mismatches.

We’ve redesigned the Form Engine interface to make it easier to build forms and manage incoming leads more efficiently.
A new block insertion flow is now available. When adding a block to a page, you can preview all available skins for that block type before selecting the one you want.
We’ve introduced new customizations for branded workspaces. Now, your workspace brand also appears in the preview URLs of sites under construction and in invitation emails sent to new users.
We’ve also made several UI improvements to the item tables across all modules for a more consistent and user-friendly experience.

We’ve redesigned the Modules interface to make content management more efficient. The new version includes updated tables with additional fields, quick actions, and a fully refreshed list panel.
The Wizard has been upgraded. In addition to generating custom texts for the Home based on online data about the property, it now also injects relevant images from the establishment to accompany the generated content.
There’s no need to worry about writing titles or alts for images obtained through scraping—our AI now analyzes each image and generates them automatically.

In the Wizard, previews for Room Detail and Offer Detail pages now display real related items, providing a more accurate view of how the final content will look.
We’ve updated and expanded the available color palette in the Wizard, offering more variety and flexibility when customizing your site.
We also fixed a bug in the bulk translation export, which previously excluded WYSIWYG text fields. All content types are now exported correctly.

We’ve launched Branded Workspaces for enterprise clients. These allow for full brand customization, including logo, color palette, and custom domain configuration.
In the Wizard, we’ve improved the context generation process by introducing new methods to retrieve additional page URLs from the old website. We’ve also added filtering systems to handle excessive results more efficiently.
The Wizard now also displays fallback sample images in the previews for Room List, Room Detail, Offer List, and Offer Detail if AI doesn’t retrieve enough images to fill the layout.
We’ve improved error handling for AI responses in the Wizard to ensure more robust content generation.
Lastly, we’ve removed the publication date field from items in the Clippings, News, and Reviews modules, giving you more control over how this content is presented on your site.

A new flat room layout link element has been added to the items in the Meeting Rooms module, enabling clearer linking to downloadable floor plans or external resources.
When adding a list block to a module detail page to show related items, the current item will now be hidden by default to prevent self-referencing in the list.
We’ve also improved the UI of list panels, making it easier to view and manage items more efficiently.
Lastly, we’ve made multiple API optimizations to reduce page load times and improve overall performance.

We’ve added CSS styles to the text editor (WYSIWYG) so that content in the editor closely matches the actual design of the website.
New designs for the FAQ and Reviews modules are now available.
Ordering options have been added to all list blocks (e.g. Rooms List, Offer List), allowing items to be displayed using module order, reverse order, or a custom order.
A captcha element has been added to the Form Engine to help prevent spam.
In Wizard v4, activating the FAQ and Reviews sections now automatically pulls content from the site’s context to speed up setup.
We’ve also added indexes to improve loading performance in various admin panels.

We’ve added new field types to the Form Engine to give you more flexibility when building forms: dropdowns, multi-option checkboxes, radio buttons, multi-recipient selection, and a country dropdown.
In Wizard v4, you can now select a booking engine as part of the hotel context, and you can import external offers directly into the Offers module.
We’ve also launched a new module: Reviews. Use it to manage and publish guest reviews directly on your website.
To improve the user experience, we’ve added skeleton loaders to forms during loading states.

We’ve introduced a new way of working with the Global CSS. It is now split into two parts: a shared base style (view-only) and a customizable style unique to each site, which overrides the base.
The Experiences module is now available, allowing you to showcase on-site or nearby activities that guests can enjoy during their stay.
We’ve added a new establishment type: Restaurant. This allows you to create a site specifically for restaurants, with a dedicated structure.
Lastly, we’ve added skeleton loaders to the skin gallery to improve the overall experience when selecting templates.

In Wizard v4, AIris can now search for and import room information—such as texts, images, and dimensions—from external sources into the Rooms module.
The page tree has been improved for easier navigation: by default, it now displays up to the third level. To view levels four and five, you’ll need to expand them manually. We’ve also added the full page tree hierarchy to the dropdown used to link pages internally.
The Form Engine received HTML and CSS updates for better styling and structure.
In the global data module, we’ve added new categories and options for better data organization.
In each page’s Settings panel, you’ll now find a new image field linked to that page’s URL. This enables visual menus and helps enrich the site’s navigation.

We’ve added a new property type: Other. This is perfect for creating websites for hospitality clients with establishments that aren’t hotels—like spas, event spaces, or other unique venues. It allows you to build a site from scratch with no predefined structure, no rooms, and no booking engine.
The Gallery block now supports image categorization, making it easier to organize and display visuals.
You can now duplicate offers within the Offers module, speeding up content creation and reuse.

AIris now includes automatic translation functionality. It can translate any content block into the active languages of your site and place the translated text directly into the correct content panel.
We’ve also added markdown parsing, making it easier to import structured content into the site editor.
In the Wizard, when setting up chain websites, activating the Rooms module no longer creates a page per room by default—this can now be enabled manually if needed.
A new integration with Mirai is now available. If you’re a Mirai client, you can import property and room content directly from their booking engine.
Finally, we’ve redesigned the modules interface to make navigation and module management more intuitive.

AIris understands both your hotel context (by accessing online sources like your previous site, chain websites, Booking, Expedia, guest reviews, etc.) and your site context (it knows which page you’re editing, which blocks it includes, and what content each block holds).
Thanks to this dual context, AIris can:
Search for and retrieve relevant information about your hotel.
Create tailored content for your website.
Review and improve your existing texts.

A new Wizard helper has been introduced in the bottom-left corner of the screen. It guides you through the website creation process, shows completed and pending steps, and allows you to navigate between them.

The Wizard flow has been restructured. The first step now focuses exclusively on building and customizing the Home page. Once completed, the Wizard will guide you through activating the modules based on your selected property type.

Removed the Page Tree icon from the sidebar to streamline the editing interface. You can still access the page tree from the “Pages” menu in the top bar.

Introducing Bulk Import, the easiest way to import multilingual content to a website. Simply click on the text you want to import and then on the part of the design where you want to add it. The text will be loaded in all active languages, allowing you to populate your website’s content in minutes instead of hours or days.
You can now customize the block panel of your custom skins by deciding which fields to display and in what order, making it more intuitive for content managers.
Additionally, when duplicating a website, the global JS is now duplicated as well.
We’ve also added a new variable to the global data (“is home”) so you can customize special behaviors on the home page.
